Wilma Jean Skaggs

Wilma Jean Skaggs, 83, of New Boston peacefully went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2022 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born September 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Albert and Nellie Munn. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Delane Skaggs, a son Rick Skaggs, two sisters, Wanda Spriggs, Patty Buckler and a granddaughter Ashley Robinson. Wilma is survived by her son, Michael D. Skaggs and daughter-in-law, Billie Skaggs of Huntington, WV; a daughter, Lisa (Crabtree) Robinson and son-in-law Mark Robinson of Minford, Ohio as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilma was a beautiful soul that affected so many people in her lifetime. She loved her family and never knew a stranger. Her greatest joy was cooking for all. She had a loving heart and always managed to help people in some way. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday July 26, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Michael Skaggs officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 11 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
