Willodean Hammond

Willodean Hammond, 79, of New Boston, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Hempstead Manor Nursing Home. She was born November 22, 1931, in Canton, Oh, a daughter of the late Orval and Lela Spencer Hammond. She attended the Sixth Street Pentecostal Church. Willodean is survived by two sisters, Darlene Twinam of Portsmouth and Verna Patterson of Beaver; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wand and Paul Hammond; and one sister, Imogene Ison. Services will be 2PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Reverend Gary Shonkwiler officiating. Burial will be at Bailey Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service at D.W.
