Age 86 of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord December 16, 2015 at Southern Ohio Hospice in Portsmouth He was born September 7, 1929 in Huntington, WV to Walter and Lillian (Crawford) Ketter He was raised by his Aunt and Uncle, Roger and Anna (Crawford) Williams Bill was a retired Iron Worker and also retired from the Army Corps of Engineers He was known as “Buckeye Bill” to many of his friends and made many buckeye necklaces that he sold for years at Ohio State University. Bill was a member of the New Boston First Church of the Nazarene and attended North Moreland Christian Baptist Church.

Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia, who he married in Wheelersburg in 1973 Also surviving are one son, William Patrick Williams (Ellen) of West Portsmouth; one daughter, Melinda Gagne (Marc) of Ottawa, Canada; half-brother, Walter Ketter, Jr. of WV; three granddaughters, Megan Nance, Jordan Spencer, Madison Williams; one step-grandson, Steven Arthur; one step-granddaughter, Keelie Arthur.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston on Saturday, December 19, 2015 with Pastors Paul Hagen and James Patrick officiating Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace Friends may call Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service Online condolences may be made to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
