William Joseph Rideout

William Joseph Rideout, 71, of Powellsville, passed away Monday March 13, 2023. He was born June 5, 1951 in Portsmouth a son of the late Sylvester and Elsie Rideout. He was a graduate of Green High School. He enjoyed riding his Trike, spending time on his boat and playing with his dog Sassy. He worked for several years at Anchor Pad Marina. Bill is survived by his fiancee', Loretta Adkins; step-daughters, Jessica Daulton of Portsmouth, Rikki Adkins of New Boston and Jodi (Aaron) Mowery of Wheelersburg; step-grandchildren, Lyrrik, Cameron, Miley, McKenzie, Maddison, Jaylen and Joslyna; nephews John, Greg and Dana. He was also preceded in death by Regina Harrison, his longtime companion and caretaker; brothers Carlos, Elwood, William and Johnny Rideout and sisters Ivory, Wilma, Betty and Helen. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday March 17, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Powellsville Cemetery.
