William "Pat" Patrick Cummings

William Patrick “Pat” Cummings, 63, of Circleville passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at OSU James Cancer Center in Columbus. Pat was born, May 7, 1961 in Portsmouth to the late Willard and Joyce (Holbrook) Cummings.  He was a graduate of Glenwood High School in New Boston and retired from Jess Howard Electric after 18 years of service.  Pat loved to hunt and go camping but his daughter, Elizabeth Cummings, was the highlight of his life.

Pat is survived by his wife, Marsha Cummings of Circleville; two daughters, Elizabeth Cummings of Circleville and Arica Adams of Circleville; one son, Anthony Adams of Tampa, FL; one sister, Kay McClary of McDermott; two nephews, Dale McClary and wife Tara of Lucasville and Drew McClary and wife Ashley of Lucasville.  In addition to his parents Pat was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Andy McClary.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Brian Holbrook officiating.  Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.  Online condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
