Wayne Hammond, 65 of Wheelersburg died Sunday July 1, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born Sept. 26, 1946 in Paintsville, KY. a son of the late Ortis and Zelda Riley Hammond. Wayne is survived by his wife, Connie Jenkins Hammond; two sons, Matt Greenwood and Jerrod Hammond; two daughters, Heather Cook and Dana Hammond; two brothers, Roger Hammond and Bill Hammond and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Services will be 12 noon Thursday, July 5, 2012 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Paster Ronnie Blevins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 10 AM to 12 noon at D.W. Swick in New Boston. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
