Age 89 of Sciotoville, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth She was born December 18, 1927 in Wheelersburg to Pleasant and Flossie (Beasley) Lutz She attended Glenwood High School and wed Jack Patton on December 27, 1946 with whom she enjoyed over 70 years of marriage Wanda was a member of the Wheelersburg Eastern Star 501 as well as the Ohio Avenue Christian Church in New Boston She enjoyed sewing and crafts of all kinds, reading, and was such an avid Cincinnati Reds fan that she made a point of attending a number of Reds spring training sessions while she lived in Florida But more than anything, Wanda loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Patton; son, Daniel (Nell) Patton of West Portsmouth; daughter, Debra (Jeffrey) Woodard of Lucasville; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Lutz, Joseph Lutz, and Pleasant Lutz, Jr.; sister, Helen Mader; and a brother in infancy, Lowell Lutz.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Jimmy Osborne officiating Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Wednesday Online condolences may be shared at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
