Wanda (Kinker) Kindinger
July 26, 1930 — July 17, 2017
Age 86 of New Boston passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth She was born July 26, 1930 in Sciotoville to Herman and Katie (Wheeler) Kinker Wanda was a graduate of Portsmouth High School. She enjoyed embroidering, loved to read, garden and loved animals and her family especially her grandchildren and great – grandchildren
She is survived by a son, R. Michael (Jenny) Kindinger of Logan; five daughters, Leslie Gleim of Honolulu, Hawaii, Peggy Kindinger of New Boston, Mary J. (Michael) Waugh of Wheelersburg, Donna (Michael) Meehan of New Boston, Amelia F. (Scott) Gosselin of Franklin Furnace, fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Kindinger; son, William Kindinger; great – grandson Kevin Crabtree; two brothers, Donald Kinker and Herman “Butch” Kinker; sister Katherine “Patty” Armstrong.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg Friends may call Friday from 11 p.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
