Violet Ruth Lewis, 75, of New Boston, died June 7, 2014. She was born July, 24, 1937. in Carmi, IL. She was the daughter of the Late Cecil and Ella Pollard Hodge. She was survived by two sisters Ann Bartley of Portsmouth, Barbara Amburgey, of New Boston. A brother Ralph Hodge of West Portsmouth. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dewey M. Lewis, a daughter Pamela Howard, two sisters Patricia and Elva Hodge; four brothers Clarence Bradley, Harold Hodge, Ronald Hodge and Cecil Hodge, Jr. Graveside services will be Tuesday June 10, 2014 at 3:00pm at Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Peter Michael officiating.
