Violet M. Ferguson

Violet M. Ferguson, 87, of New Boston, died, Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at SOMC Hospice. She was born Sept. 1, 1924, in Vinton Co., Oh, a daughter of the late Louis and Mable Brown Barber. Violet is survived by her husband Denver Ferguson of New Boston; a daughter, Pam (Peter) Cardinal of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Faye Hall of Mansfield; a brother, Junior Talbot of Cocoa, FL; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Daily; four brothers, Paul, Floyd, and Clarence Barber and Donald Stephenson. Services will be 1:00 pm, Wed., Nov. 23, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating. Burial will be at Long Run Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 to 1 pm at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
