Age 86 of New Boston died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home She was born August 24, 1930 in Lucasville to Thomas and Nellie (Sheets) Fultz Viola graduated from Clay High School in 1948 While working at the Cameo Restaurant she met her beloved husband of 67 years, Rome Leon Shoemaker They were married December 24, 1949 She later worked at K-Mart and WalMart in food services. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Boston.
She is survived by her husband Rome; two daughters, Debbie (John) Coriell of Franklin Furnace and Lisa Frazie of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, John Michael (Jessica) Coriell and Brittany Lee (Andrew) Cline; one great grandson, Jonathon Keith Coriell; two sisters, Loretta Chamblin and Garnett Wilcox; one brother, Thomas Fultz.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Friday, July 29, 2016 at D.W. SWICK – NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Mike Percell officiating Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace Friends may call Friday from 10 – 12 at the funeral Home.
