Age 74 of Wheelersburg, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his home He was born October 29, 1942 in Portsmouth to Virgil and Gladys (Distel) Maggard Timothy served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era and was a conductor of the Norfolk/Southern Railroad He loved to fish, golf, and watch Nascar races.

He is survived by his mother, Gladys Parks; wife, Ruth (Howard) Maggard; one son, Timothy Clyde Maggard, Jr. (Christina) of Washington Courthouse; two grandchildren, Ashley Napier (Ed) and Tyler Maggard; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Avery Napier He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Edward Stewart Maggard.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Randy Schintzius officiating Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg Military honors will be provided by James Dickey Post #23, American Legion Friends may call Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
