Timothy Jay Cooper

Timothy J. Cooper, 65, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born April 21, 1958 in Portsmouth to the late Rudolph and Betty (Yarnell) Cooper. Timothy enjoyed Fishing, camping, family bon fires and anything that had to do with family and the outdoors. He also loved playing his guitar. Timothy is survived by a son, Heath Cooper of Portsmouth; two daughters, April Cooper of Lakeview, Ohio and Ashley Wells and husband Christopher of Portsmouth; a brother, Rodney Cooper and wife Joanna of Lucasville; two sisters, Connie Wicker and husband Gary and Judy Fitzpatrick both of South Webster; two grandchildren, Seth Thrasher and Dante Wells. In addition to his parents Timothy was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Buddy" Yarnell. Cremation services have been entrusted to D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
