Stanley Parlin

Age 64 of New Boston, passed away on January 13, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus He was born March 17, 1951 in Portsmouth to Clyde E. and Mary (Patrick) Parlin.  He was a 1969 graduate of Glenwood High School. Stanley attended Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union in New Boston and loved sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Stanley is survived by one son, Eric Parlin of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Brenda Parlin of New Boston; three grandchildren, Pamela, Justin, and Alex Parlin; one nephew, Tyler Messer of Sciotoville; special cousin, Lyn Patrick of New Boston; and special caregiver, Mel Hunt Stan, affectionately known as “Babycakes”, will be missed by his many friends In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Patrick Parlin.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at D.W.
