Stanley W. Harrison

Stanley W. Harrison, 83, formerly of Sciotoville, now residing in Petersburg, VA. died Sat. April 30, 2011 at a Richmond, VA. hospital. He was born May 21, 1927 in Jackson Co., Ohio, son of the late Anna Hughes Scaggs. He was a lifelong construction worker and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by 3 sons, Michael Harrison of St. Ann, MO., David (Carol) Harrison of Warrenton, VA. and Denny (Ann) Harrison of Chesterfield, VA.; 4 daughters, Anna Morrison and Russ Willard of Amelia Court House, VA., Amy (Terry) Tyson of Lexington, KY, Lisa Harrison of Portsmouth and June (Phil) Darby of Indiana; his special friend and companion, Janet Kisor of Richmond, VA., 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchild. Stanley was also preceded in death by his wife Wanda Harrison, 2 brothers Eugene and Chester Harrison, and a sister Elizabeth Harrison. Services will be 1 PM Thurs. May 5, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Ralph Shaffer,Jr officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park with graveside military honory by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.
