Age 68 of Portsmouth, passed away January 18, 2017 at SOMC Hospice She was born January 5, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Curtis L. Campbell and Pauline D. (Stevens) Campbell She was a 1968 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a U.S. Army Veteran Shirley loved her pets and all animals She worked as a nurse at the former Mercy Hospital, Golden Years and Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Wyatt Wheeler of Portsmouth; three sons, Brian (Tammy) Wheeler of Hamden, Christopher ( Barbara) Wheeler of Wheelersburg, Kevin Wheeler of Portsmouth; three brothers, Curtis E. (Martha) Campbell of McDermott, Wayne (Brenda) Campbell of Wheelersburg, Dennis (Sonja) Campbell of Stout; one sister Nita Lovely of Wheelersburg.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 21, 2017 at D.W. SWICK – NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park Military rites will be provided by the James Dickey Post #23, American Legion Friends may call from 12 noon until 1p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home Condolences to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
