Sharon Kay Blackburn

Sharon Kay Blackburn, 66, of Westerville, formerly of New Boston died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born August 18, 1944 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Jesse and Clarice Everman Blevins. She was a member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a retired Missionary from the World Gospel Mission of Indiana. Sharon is survived by a son, Barry Blackburn of Columbus; two daughters, Cheryl Workman and husband Jim of Clearwater, Fla.and Alyssa Beverick and husband Brett of Johnstown, OH.; 3 brothers, Glen Blevins of New Boston, Lee Roy Blevins of Minford and Jay Blevins of Dayton; 3 sisters, Luci Colley and Bonnie Riddlebarger both of Dayton and Lillian McCleese of New Boston; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many loved neices and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Kathrine Clifford and Thelma Swanson. Services will be 11 AM Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Thursday 6 to 9 PM and Friday 10 to 11 AM at D.W.
