Ronald L. Pennington

Ronald l. Pennington, 68, of New Boston died Monday, November 10, 2008 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born December 5, 1939, a son of the late A.M. Pennington and Nannie Rice Pennington. He was a member of Unity Fellowship Church, served in the military for 3 years in the Army and 7 years in the Air Force. He was a licenced Funeral Director, had worked as a salesman for Oberlings and was presently employed at D.W. Swick Funeral Homes. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Wallace and husband Gary and Melissa Dahlheimer and husband Jamie all of Bethel, OH.; 5 grandchildren, Hannah Wallace, Morgan Dahlheimer, Hunter Wallace, Jacob Dahlheimer and Caleb Dahlheimer; one sister, Mary Francis Stafford and husband Paul of Marion, IND., sister in-law, Virginia Pennington of Chillicothe; his former wife, Penny Sowards Arthur and special friend, Pat Horton along with serveral neices and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 6 brothers, Donald, Jim, AM Jr., William, Roy and Jack Pennington and a sister, Celia Stoner. Services will be 10 AM Friday at Unity Fellowship Church in New Boston with Pastor Jack Howard officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park with military graveside rites by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be Thursday 6 to 9 PM at D.W.
