Ronald W. Hoover, 75, of Portsmouth died Friday Jan. 30, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Feb. 3, 1939 a son of the late Mark and Florence Skiver Hoover. He was a former employee of Pepsi Cola Bottling Co.
Ron is survived by a son, Ronald E. Hoover and wife Mary of Portsmouth; two daughters, Angie Brown and husband Lee Roy of Sciotoville and Rhonda Jordan and husband Donald of McDermott; 7 grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, Marie, Danielle, Cynthia, Dylan, Alexandria and Joshua and 4 great-grandchildren, Austin, Payton, Rylee and Benjerman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Sowards Hoover, 3 brothers, Herbert, Richard and Clarence Hoover and 4 sisters, Aurella Davis, Merry Hoover, Jacqueline Ingles and Gladys Kimbler.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday Feb. 2, 2015 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with interment to follow at Universal cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4 to 9 PM and Monday 12 to 1 PM at D.W. Swick in New Boston. Condolences to www.dwswickfuneralhome.com.
