Rodney Ray Johnson

Age 50, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his home He was born May 18, 1969 in Portsmouth to Jesse and Connie (Gambill) Johnson He was a 1987 graduate of Portsmouth High School and worked as a laborer in construction Rodney loved heavy metal music, loved life, and had some crazy dance moves. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harleys, and most especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Connie (John) Pack of Sciotoville; son, Rodney R. Johnson, II of Winchester, KY; daughter, Alice L. Johnson of Portsmouth; sisters, Margaret Johnson (Tim Reeder) of Portsmouth and Jessica R. Johnson (Patrick Adkins, Jr.) of Sciotoville; grandchildren, Haylen Johnson Taylor, Rodney R. Johnson, III, Selena L Nicholas, Jaxsin Johnson; nieces and nephew, Marlena (Reed) Moore, Jessica (Billy) Eichenlaub, Brandon Johnson.

Funeral services for Rodney will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at D.W.
