Roberta "Bert" Colegrove

Roberta (Delotell) Colegrove went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2013, just hours after her 86th birthday. Bert was blessed with a loving family and countless friends who will miss her laughter, caring nature and adventurous spirit. She is survived by her son, Greg Colegrove (Paula Ryan), grandchildren, Adam, Daniel and Elena, great grandson, Kaleb and step-grandchildren, Joe and Rachael Ryan. Bert was born April 16, 1927 in New Boston and lived in Portsmouth with her husband, James who preceded her in death. She had an over 30 year career at the General Telephone Co. (now Verizon), was a member of the First Church of God, WCC and the "Golden Bears" at Shawnee State University. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Erma and Forrest DeLotell, 2 brothers, Jim and Harold DeLotell and 2 sisters, Janet (DeLotell) Kinder and infant Irene DeLotell. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday April 20, 2013 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 12 to 1 PM at D.W. SWICK in New Boston.
