Robert Lee Collins

Robert Lee Collins, 59, of Portsmouth died Fri. Jan.2, 2009 at his residence. He was born Sept. 18, 1949 in Delbarton, W.VA., a son of the late James Collins Sr. and Ethel Hensley Collins. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Chafin Collins; five sons, Robert Collins Jr of Wheelersburg, Cecil Collins of Portsmouth, James Collins and Tonya of Franklin Furnace, Jerry Collins and Melissa of New Boston and Robert Collins III of Portsmouth. Three brothers, James Collins Jr and Rosemary of Marysville, William Collins and Gloria of Portsmouth, Cecil Collins of Otway, 3 half brothers, Harvey Collins, Josh Collins and Arnold Collins all of West Virginia; one sister, Ira Pearl Collins and Oscar and a half sister, Debbie Collins of W.VA. and 10 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Granger Collins. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
