Robert David Adams,61, a beloved retired mechanic, was born on March 5, 1964, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He departed this life on January 5, 2025, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy imbued with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

Throughout his life, Robert was known for his fierce love of family and his passion for fishing. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life and took every opportunity to spend quality time with those he loved. His ability to connect with family and friends will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Mona Adams, of Portsmouth, and their two sons, Nicholas Adams of Wheelersburg and Zach Tully, along with his wife Savanah, of Tollesboro, Kentucky. He also leaves behind five daughters: Betty Adams of Portsmouth, Virginia Gay (Lacy) of North Carolina, Emily Tackett (James) of New Boston, Felicia Tully of Portsmouth, and Tabitha Liles (Tyler) of Tollesboro, Kentucky. He was the proud grandfather to fourteen grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and kindness.

In addition to his immediate family, Robert is mourned by three sisters: Sue Smith of Portsmouth, Brenda Coriell of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Elaine Lauren (Don) of Wisconsin. His family bonds were strong, providing him with an enduring source of love and support throughout his life.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Betty (Malone) Adams, his son, Robert David Adams, and his brothers, Larry Adams and Paul Adams. They, too, will be remembered in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

The impact Robert had on his family, friends, and the community will not be forgotten. His spirit will continue to live on through the memories shared and the love imparted, reminding all of the cherished moments spent together.
