Richard Stapleton

Richard A. Stapleton, 36, of Portsmouth died Saturday Feb. 1, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Jan. 10, 1978 in Portsmouth. Richard was a member of Mabert Road Baptist Church and was employed at Applebee's. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Stapleton Ferrell of Portsmouth; step-father, Jack Ferrell of Chesepeake; aunt, Connie Glenn; cousin, Mary Ann Blackburn all of Portsmouth and his beloved dog, Prince. Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday Feb. 6, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Jack Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
