Randall Dean Ross

Age 61 of Portsmouth, passed away at his home on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born on May 14, 1954 in Portsmouth to Arthur and Utahana "Tonnie" Keller Ross. He worked as an Assemblyman for General Motors for 30 years before his retirement. In his younger days Randy enjoyed motorcycling and was a member of a motorcycle club. Throughout his life he loved music, especially the Beatles.

He is survived by three sons, Randall Ross of Lansing, MI, Justin Ross (Dena) of Brook Park, OH, Travis Ross of Portsmouth; three daughters, Randi Lee Ross of North Ridgeville, OH, Utahana Ross of Portsmouth, Stevee Ball (Jesse) of Olmsted Township, OH; two sisters, Jane Dixon (George) of Lansing, MI, Kristi Greiner, (Dr. Charles Greiner) of West Portsmouth; one brother, Jeffrey Ross (partner Thomas Dodrill) of Columbus; four grandchildren, Cameron LaForce, Sophia Ball, Madalynn Morris, Brenna Ross; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ross, and one brother, David Ross.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5 - 7 p.m. at D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in New Boston. Interment and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
