Philip "Rocky" Bower

Philip Lee "Rocky" Bower, 73, of Portsmouth passed away October 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 17, 1951 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Carl and Gladys (Ritchie) Bower.
He enjoyed playing the Stock Market, his guitar, fishing and collecting coins. He liked making people laugh and was always scheming about something.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather Salyer of Wheelersburg: sisters in-law, Jan Bower of Circleville and Connie Bower of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Eric Bower and Craig Bower .
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 3 PM Saturday November 9, 2024 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Services will follow at 3 PM with Pastor Sam Salyer officiating.
