Paul Howard Easter

Paul Howard Easter, 81, 0f Eden Park died Sunday May 16, 2010 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born June 11, 1928 in Buena Vista, a son of the late Harry D. and Ruby Faye Hazelbaker Easter. He was a WW II Army veteran and retired tow boat mate with the former Ohio River Co. He is survived by his wife, Mary Marshall Easter whom he married on June 18, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, Ind., two sons, Steven Easter and wife Sandra of Eden Park and David Easter and wife Lori of West Portsmouth; two daughters, Lisa Ann Marshall and husband Denver of Wheelersburg and Lori Wolfe of Portsmouth; two brothers, Harry Easter of Leander, TX. and David Eugene Easter of Stout and 9 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Easter and a sister, Margaret Singer. Services will be 1 PM Wed. May 19, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Rev. Sam Salyer officiating. Burial will be at McKendree cemetery with graveside military honors by James Baker Post, American Legion. Visitation will be Wednesday 11 AM to 1 PM at D.W.
