Paul Richard Brown

Paul R. Brown, 84, of New Boston died Wed., Nov. 24, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born Aug. 25, 1926 in New Boston, a son of the late Elza and Lucy Tackett Brown. He was a graduate of Glenwood High School, was a retired United States Postal Carrier having worked in New Boston and Sciotoville, was a WW II U.S. Army veteran having served in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign and was a member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge, #91. He is survived by a sister, Jean R. Allen of Portsmouth; several neices and nephews and great neices and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and David Brown and a sister, Betty Brown. Services will be 11 AM Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with burial at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Monday 10 to 11 AM at D.W. Swick in New Boston. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
