Patty Jean Howard

Patty Jean Howard, 76, of Portsmouth passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  She was born on September 1, 1944 in Portsmouth to the late Amon and Marie (Sparks) Howard. Patty attended the Lucasville Church of God.  She loved doing crafts, shopping and taking care of her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by four daughters, Polly Price and Husband David of Portsmouth, Carrie Young and husband James of Portsmouth, Patty A. Howard and Timothy Clark of Portmsouth, Julie Kleinman and Gary Whitt of Sciotoville; one brother, Roby Hawkins and Cherrie Middleton of Portsmouth; one sister, Mary Blevins of Portsmouth; fifteen grand children; 42 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Geroge Howard, a daughter, Connie Walters; two granddaughters, Kelly Haddox and Brooklyn Kleinman;  and a sister, Bonnie Millstead.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 (noon) until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.  the family askes donations to help cover funeral expenses be sent to D.W.
