Paris Sheppard

Paris G. Sheppard, 60, of Portsmouth died Thurs., May 21, 2009 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born June 14, 1948 in Williamson W.VA , a son of the late Wallace Sheppard and Ovia Lynch.He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sherman Sheppard; a son, Thomas Sheppard of Lucasville; four daughters, Pamela Sheppard, Selena Vasques and Gina May all of Portsmouth and Nancy Ledford of Houston, TX.; one brother, Charles E. Sheppard; a sister, Linda Hall; grandchildren, Rosalea Rodrigues, Antonio Ledford, Noah Luther, David Wibby, Kelsey and Madison Sheppard and several neices, nephews and great neices and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, Paris Lee Sheppard; stepfather, Clifford Lynch, nephew, Charles Herbert Sheppard; sister, Olly Sheppard and two brothers and two sisters who died at birth. Services will be 11 AM Tues., May 26, 2009 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with burial at Stepp cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 PM and Tues. 10 to 11 AM at D.W.
