Naomi Ruth Malone

Naomi Ruth Malone, 83, of Twin Valley went to be with the Lord on Tuesday Jan. 21, 2014 at home after a long illness. She was born August 23, 1930 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Walter and Trilby Brigner. Naomi was a homemaker and member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union. She is survived by her husband, Vaughn Malone whom she married on July 5, 1951 in New Boston; 6 sons, Bruce (Donna) Malone of New Boston, Rick (Mona) Malone of Columbia Station, Steve Malone of Washington, DC, Scott (Kaye) Malone of Wheelersburg, Tim (Robin) Malone of Wheelersburg and Anthony (Natalie) Malone of Cincinnati; 3 daughters, Vickie (Dan) Sell of New York, Janet (David) Barth of Columbus and Nancy (Tim) Cox of Ashville; 2 brothers, Carl Brigner of Dayton and Paul Brigner of Michigan; 3 sisters, Darlene Shoemaker of Rosemount, Lena Sanders of Eden Park and Beaulah Maple of Portsmouth; 25 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Savonna and a infant brother, David. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday Jan. 24, 2014 at Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
