Mildred Baldwin, age 54 of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1963 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Robert Baldwin, Jr. and Evelyn Mollett Baldwin. She attended Living Word Church in Highland Bend and she loved to play the piano with the group, Sounds of Zion.
Mildred is survived by Patrick Preston and Mickayla Preston whom she raised; four brothers, Clifford (Alberta) Baldwin of Franklin Furnace, Steven Baldwin, Larry (Deondra) Baldwin, and Kenneth Baldwin, all of Ironton; three sisters, Nilda Burke of West Portsmouth, Juna Baldwin of Ironton, and Lenda (David) Carver of Portsmouth, a sister-in-law, Betty Baldwin of Franklin Furnace; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Millard Baldwin and an infant sister.
Services will be 2:00 p.m Sunday, August 12, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastors Parker Mollett and Omar Baldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Mollett Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
