Mary R. Newton, 94 of Portsmouth, Ohio, died September 17, 2013 at home. She was born April 5, 1919 in Indianapolis, Indiana. to the late Harry Eba and the late Bessie (Tucker) Eba. She is survived by two, sons, Ronald Newton of Hammond, Indiana and Philip (Joyce) Newton, of Portsmouth, Ohio. One daughter Linda (James) Bloomfield, of Columbus, Ohio. One Sister Naomi Fout of Texas. and six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Burton Newton, two daughters Barbara Heisler, Judith Newton. One sister Esther Rigley. Three brothers Paul Eba, David Eba and Titus Eba. a grandson Christopher Bloomfield and one great grandson Zachery Garrett Wright. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at D W SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON, with Pastor Mike Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park.
