Mary Janet Craft

Mary Janet Craft, 82, of New Boston, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at River Run Health Care Center in Franklin Furnace. She was born in Brown County, Ohio on April 12, 1941 to the late James H. and Catherine E. (Lawson) Callender. Janet was a member of the North Moreland Christian Baptist Church for 33 years. She worked as a stitcher for Williams Manufacturing.
Janet is survived by a son, David Craft and wife Jolynn of New Boston; a daughter, Teresa Stephenson of Wheelersburg; two grandchildren, Michael Craft and wife Chelsie of Florence, Ky and Ashley Burchett and husband Kyle of Waverly; two great-grandchildren, Jason Craft of Circleville and Wesley Craft of Florence, KY. Janet was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Craft; a brother, Jimmy Joseph Callender; a sister, Erma Jean Ruggles; and a grandson, Donald Craft.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Ryan Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
