Mary Louise Brown

Mary Louise Brown, 82, of West Portsmouth went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  She was born August 8, 1938 in Scioto County to the late Ithel and Mabel (Easter) Bloomfield.  Mary loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed praising him.  Mary loved working puzzles, reading, especially the Bible, and going to church.  She was an Elder and Sunday School teacher at First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston where she was also a longtime member.

Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Albert Brown; four sons, Michael Brown and wife Thelma of West Portsmouth, Patrick Brown and wife Virginia of Portsmouth, VA, Jimmy Brown and wife Laura of Cleveland, OH, and Danny Brown and wife Christine of Twin Valley; one sister, Margret Clem of Portsmouth; 14 grand children and several great grand children.  She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Brown; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Brown and a grand son, Nathaniel Kreed Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden in Franklin Furnace.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 (noon) until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
