Marie C. Tomlin

Marie Charlene (Martin) Tomlin, 84, of Minford passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 16, 1929 in Piketon, OH., a daughter of the late Charles H. Martin and Anna (Schuster) Martin. Marie had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Jackson, OH. where she retired from. She was a member of Cedar St. CCCU Church. Marie enjoyed gardening in her flower garden. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William J. Tomlin and a brother, Jacob Martin. She is survived by seven children, Anna (Thomas) Dinkins of New Castle, IN., Mike Tomlin (Vickie) of Wheelersburg, OH., Carol (Gary) Murnane of Wheelersburg, OH., Charlene Brenneman of Middletown, IN., Marvin (Belinda) Tomlin, Anita (John) Jenkins of Minford, OH. and Charlie Tomlin (Trish) of Waverly, OH. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles (Bud) Martin of Jackson, OH., Ruby McIver of Tennessee, Darlene Davis of Waverly, Oh. and Donna Brown of Lucasville, OH. Grandchildren, Andrea, Jeana, Belinda, Mikey, Brandy, Chris, Eric, Jason, Jody, Jeff, Micheala, Marvin, Rachel, Wes, C J, Stephanie, Katie and Jarrett and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday Jan. 7, 2014 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Cemetery in Piketon, OH.
