Marcia Kay Trent

Marcia Kay Trent, 54, of Eden Park died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born January 10, 1956 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Melvin and Bethel Pegram Trent. She was a member of Rubyville Community Church and loved going to church, bowling and any other kind of activity. She also participated in the Special Olympics. Marcia was a very active and loving person and touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by two sisters, Doris Miller of Woodlawn, Tenn. and Unita Tomlin and husband Tom of Eden Park; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver, Fran Bennett. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Rubyville Community Church with Rev. Calvin Ray Evans and Rev. Brian Bear officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the church on Friday 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 1 to 2 PM . Arrangements are being handled by D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
