Lillian Janet Tackett

Jan Tackett, 73, 0f Portsmouth passed away Friday April 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1948 in South Shore, KY a daughter of the late Leslie Ray Bivens and Marie (Bentley) Farris. Jan had a great personality, loved to read, was one of the best cooks around, was an excellent billiards player and enjoyed bowling. Jan is survived by three daughters, April Winters of West Portsmouth, Linda Nichols and husband Nick of Wheelersburg, Leslie McComas and husband Greg of Cincinnati; one brother, Gary Bivens; grandchildren, Chad Carr, Megan Nichols, Stephany McComas, Kayla McComas, Kayse Nichols (Josh), Derek (Maddie) Tackett; great grandchildren, Devon and Drake Nichols and soon to be born, Oaklynn Tackett. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ted Bivens and a sister, Marilyn Robinson. "Thank you everyone for your heartfelt comments and prayers. Our mom was the funniest person we ever knew. She was known and loved for her smile, humor, kindness, beauty, quick Witt and her amazing cooking. Our world is officially rocked. Continued prayers are appreciated.
