Lillian Caroline Rose (December 10, 1932 - April 6, 2009) Lillian Caroline Rose, 76, of New Boston, died Monday, April 6, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 10, 1932 in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Dennis Samuel Stevens and Mary Nourse Stevens. She was a member of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead Preservation Society. She is survived by a son, Sam (Tonya) Rose of Columbus; three daughters, Debbie (Thomas)Ferrell of Columbus; Helen Rose of New Boston and Lisa Rose of West Chester, Ohio. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Amanda (Lawrence) Scheck, Maria (William) Noland,Tiffany Ferrell, Brittany Ferrell, David Pence, Daniel Rose, Devin Ferrell and Marco Ferrell ; five great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband James H. Rose, a son James H. Rose Jr., four brothers and two sisters and one great-grandchild William James Noland II. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday April 10, 2009, at D. W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Rev. Howard Pruitt officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Vistition will be Thursday 6:00 to 8pm., and Friday 10:00 to 11:00am at D W Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
