Lillian Magee

Lillian Mae Magee, 94, of New Boston died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 4, 1914 in Elliott Co., KY., a daughter of the late Martin Luther Ferguson and Della Belle Gillium Ferguson. Lillian was a 75 year member of Ohio Ave. Christian Church, Wheelersburg Order of Eastern Star and was a former owner along with her husband of the Magee Service Station in New Boston and had worker for the Bluebird Bakery. She is survived by two sons, Morris J. Magee of New Boston and Luther F. Magee and wife June of Myrtle Beach, SC.; two daughters, Janet M. Elkins and husband Charles of Mansfield, OH. and Patricia L. Adkins and husband James of New Boston; one sister, Monie Bentley of Sandy Hook, Ky.; 6 grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Morris H. Magee on August 18, 1977, two brothers, Richard C. and Rufus J. Ferguson; three sisters, Sarah E. Stephens, Lula I. Meenach and Nancy A. Thompson. Services will be 1 PM Wed.December 31, 2008 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Rev. James Osborne officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park.
