Leslie Dale Ruggles

Age 75 of Wheelersburg, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2016 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1940 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Charles “Cuffy” and Verla Ruggles. Les was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School, loved deer hunting, farming, and loved playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of the New Boston Eagles and the Moose Club. Les was very active with his motorcycle club in collecting toys to donate to kids at Christmas time.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Lewis Ruggles; five daughters, Amber Ruggles, Amanda Ruggles and Leslie Ann Ruggles, all of Wheelersburg, Tammy (Dusty) Apel of Sciotodale, and Tina (Larry) Clark of New Boston; two brothers, Ed Ruggles of Goose Creek and Charley (Sandy) Ruggles of Franklin Furnace; four sisters, Jean Fritz and Betty Cucina, both of Maryland, Marlene Elzroth of Columbus and Karen Miller of Wheelersburg; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday March 14, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Private interment will follow at a later date. Condolences to www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
