Leroy Curtis White

Leroy Curtis White, 86, of Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth. He was born May 14, 1934 in Portsmouth to the late Curtis and Ida Mae (Craft) White. Leroy retired from Dayton Walther Foundry in Portsmouth where he worked as an electrician.
Leroy is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Hamby of Lucasville and Elsie Irene Adkins of New Boston; and a friend, Janet Goddard of Portsmouth. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Ray White and sisters Goldie Rolfe, Eva Slusher, Marie Inlow, Cova Buffington, Ethel Mae White, and Tina Barstow. The family request memorial donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Phil Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Old Wheelersburg Cemetery.
