Lena Conn Chapman, 81, of New Boston died Mon. Aug. 29, 2011 at Crystal Care Center. She was born June 30, 1930 in Morgan Co., KY., a daughter of the late Felix and Mary Ann O'Neal Moore. She was a homemaker and member of Mabert Road Baptist Church. Lena is survived by her husband, Carl E. Chapman; two sons, Cecil Ray Conn, Jr. and Chuck Conn and wife Kim all of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Mary Walton and husband Bob of Stout and Betty Thacker and husband Bill of New Boston; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Kelly, Candy Witt, Krista Cable,Jamie Hensley, Adam Conn, Amy Kleski and Aaron Conn and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Conn and 3 brothers, Virgil, Cecil and Winford Moore. Services will be 11 AM Friday Sept. 2, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Gerald Penix officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Thursday 5 to 8 PM and Friday 10 to 11 AM at D.W.
