Lawrence "Larry" H. Woodrum

Age 78 of Bradenton, FL formerly of Portsmouth, passed away May 24, 2017 in Bradenton, FL He was born April 21, 1939 in Portsmouth to Walter and Anna (Hall) Woodrum Larry was a barber for over forty years at Larry and Luther’s in Portsmouth and Woodrum’s Barber Shop in Wheelersburg and Portsmouth In his spare time he loved to golf, shoot pool, and play cards.

He is survived by three sons, William “Bill” (Kelly) Woodrum of Columbus, Raymond (Tommy) Woodrum of Washington, David L Williams of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren, Brittanie Woodrum of GA, Staci Woodrum of CA, Wade Woodrum of CA, Bridgette Hahn of OH, William “Will” Woodrum of VA, Zach Woodrum of OH, and Tanner Woodrum of OH; one sister, Diana Davis of AL; one daughter-in-law, Teri Wayman of Gulfport, FL In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence “Woody” H. Woodrum, Jr.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held from 3 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at D.W.
