Larry Dale Pennington

Larry Dale Pennington, 76, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday November 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1946 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Walter Pennington and Rosella (Keller) Mustard. Larry was a former custodian with the Portsmouth City Schools. He enjoyed painting cars, woodworking, gardening and all kinds of outdoor activities. Larry is survived by his wife, Pamela Pennington; a son, Christopher Todd Pennington of Florida; a daughter Angie Burrow of Columbus; a half sister, Sharon Sherman and husband Tony of Wheelersburg, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many friends and co-workers. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Truman and step-father, Robert Mustard. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday November 16, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Ryan Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 on Thursday.
