Kendra Sue Campbell

Kendra Sue Campbell, 55, of New Boston passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1966 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Dorothy (McCleese) Adkins and the late Howard Adkins. She attended Clay High School and was a former Teachers Aid at The Vern Riffe School. She loved to cook, read, write and study the Bible and she loved her family very much.
Kendra is survived by her mother, Dorothy Adkins of New Boston; a special son, Andrew Montgomery of New Boston; a sister, Sharon Lute of New Boston; nephew, Scott (Donna) Lute of New Boston; niece Staci (Adam) Kurtz; great nephews, Korben and Wyatt Lute; great nieces, Kelcie Lute (Jacob), Olivia, Callie and Maci Kurtz all of New Boston; special friend and caregiver, Jamie Newman of Portsmouth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Campbell. The family would like to thank the staff in the ICU unit for the wonderful care they provided.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Monday March 29, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 7 PM and Monday 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
