Kathy J. Mullins, 78, of Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was born to the late William and Ida (Ogden) Ruark on October 8, 1943 in West Union, Ohio. She worked many years as a Beautician. Kathy loved her flowers, but her true love was her family especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Terry Mullins; two sons, William B. Mullins of Portsmouth and Barry Mullins and wife Pam of Chillicothe; two brothers, Bill Ruark and wife Loyanne of Wheelersburg and Larry Lee Ruark of Los Angeles, CA.; a granddaughter, Mercedes Dye and husband Corey; great grandchildren, Bentley and Porsha Dye.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Buck Music officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
