Kathryn P. Johnson Craig, 93, of Eden Park went to be with her Lord at 1:40 AM on April 13, 2014 at home with her family by her side. Kathryn was born on November 1, 1920 to the late Samuel and Agnes Conley Johnson in Portsmouth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Walter Craig on March 9, 2000, a son and his wife, Wayne and Patricia Craig, 2 brothers, Ralph and Clarence Johnson and 2 sisters, Beatrice Coldiron and Diana Dunn. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Jim) Cooper and grandsons, Aaron and Nicholas Ginn; a son, Wendell (Margie) Craig of Wichita, Kansas; 2 grandsons, J.B. Craig and Walter (Sheri) Craig of Wichita; 2 granddaughters, Sandy (Dewight) Ruark and Jackie (Bob) Moore of Maysville, KY. Four brothers, Earl Johnson of Jackson, OH., Sammy, William (Nora), Paul (Barbara) Johnson all of Stockdale, OH.; three sisters, Olive Minnix of Chillicothe, Nora Robinson Williams of Columbus, OH., and Susie (Jack) Clemens of Columbus, OH.; 11 great-grandchildren , 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved and supported her until the very end. Kathryn's family would also like to extend a big thank you to Karen Horsley, a very special care giver who loved and took excellent care of her for over a year. Kathryn was a member of Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union where she was a Sunday School teacher for many yoars and a member of the church choir. She has fought a good fight, kept the faith and finished the race. She is now at home with her Lord who she faithfully served for many years. Services will be 12 Noon Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Cedar St. Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastors Gary Heimbach and Robert Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Lucasville cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON and Wednesday 11 to 12 noon at the church.
