Judy Belle Burton

Age 67 of Portsmouth passed away Monday August 29, 2016 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1948 in Portsmouth a daughter of Catherine Welch Sowards and the late Charles Fitzpatrick. She was a homemaker who loved watching TV and gardening.

In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by her husband, Anthony Wayne Burton; mother-in-law Dorothy Potts of Sciotoville; a brother Jimmy (Tammy) Fitzpatrick of Portsmouth; seven sisters, Twila (Joe) Bond of Sciotoville, Diana Fitzpatrick of Portsmouth, Willa (Jim) Gillespie of London, OH, Martha Boehm of Rosemount, Thea Fitzpatrick of Portsmouth, Velvet Sowards of New Boston, and Nila (Kenneth) Furtaw of Portsmouth. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Fitzpatrick, Kenneth Fitzpatrick Gibbs; and a sister, Crystal Journey.

Services will be 1:00 p.m Tuesday September 6, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Jack Howard officiating. Interment will follow at McKendree Cemetery.
