John Paul Morrison

John Paul Morrison, 60 of Wheelersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born August 16, 1954 in Portsmouth, the son of the late John "Pat" and Rosemary Faye Cleary Morrison. John was also preceded in death by his grandparents, 3 uncles and several cousins. He had retired from N &S Railroad where he was a conductor
John is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Channel Morrison, whom he married on August 10, 1991 in Wheelersburg; one daughter, Heather (Josh) Carver of Portsmouth; one son, Adam (Amy) Reeder of Wheelersburg; 2 grandsons, Josiah and Elijah Carver; 2 granddaughters, Lyla and Adelyn Reeder; one brother, Tony (Donna) Hubbard of Portsmouth; a sister, Patty (Marty) Staker of Wheelersburg; step mother, Marcella (Dean) Sparks of Wheelersburg; 3 aunts, Rosie (Mike) Morrison, Nancy (Ben) Morrison both of Wheelersburg and Anita (Les) Blankenship of Cincinnati; nieces, Toni (Ben) Gill and Katelyn Staker; nephew, Michael Staker and many cousins and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, with son Adam Reeder officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
